Ingredients:
- 1 large onion
 - 1 garlic head
 - 1 tbsp of Sichuan peppercorns
 - 1 star anise
 - 1 tbsp sugar
 - 1/4 cup sesame seeds
 - 3~4 habaneros
 - About 10oz of roasted sesame oil
 - Salt to taste
 - 1/4 cup soaked soybeans/chickpeas or nuts (optional)
 
Instructions
- Mince the garlic and onion very finely and grind/pound the Sichuan peppercorns until desired texture.
 - Break/smash the star anise and nuts/soybeans to desired consistency as well.
 - Add everything but the habaneros into a sauce pan and fill with sesame oil.
 - Heat in medium heat until you reach a steady boil.
 - When onions start to shrivel, add habaneros and continue to boil.
 - Remove from heat before reaching desired “dryness”, since sauce will continue to cook after turning of heat.
